What are the opening hours of the County Record Office and where can I park?
Follow the link 'Opening Hours' for usual opening hours. On-site parking is available for disabled drivers only. Pay and display parking is available a few minutes walk away at Cae Ddol or Park Road Car Park.
Do I need to book to visit the County Record Office?
It is advisable to book a few days in advance to avoid disappointment. Visitors arriving without a booking will be accommodated if space and facilities permit. To book simply call the Office on 01824 708250 or email using the link on the left.
Do I need to bring anything special with me when visiting the County Record office?
If you are a member, you need to bring your County Archive Research Network (CARN) ticket and a pencil (pens are not allowed). If you are not a member please bring proof of identity which includes your address and a signature. Follow the link 'CARN Reader's ticket' for more details.
