The Local Land Charges Unit is part of Planning, Regeneration and Regulatory Services. It is involved in the processing of Local Land Charge searches and Common Land searches and the registration of Local Land Charges affecting properties/land in the County of Denbighshire.

The Council has a statutory duty under the Local Land Charges Act 1975 to maintain a Register of Local Land Charges. This register is updated daily to provide an accurate response to requests. The Unit also works closely with other departments of the Council to maintain an up to date and accurate response to the CON 29 questionnaire.
