The Food Safety team is responsible for ensuring that the food sold in the County is safe, clean and fit to eat.  We have over 1,400 food related premises in Denbighshire, such as restaurants, hot food takeaways, school canteens, butchers and mobile catering units. 

All premises which prepare, produce, cook or sell food must comply with strict hygiene standards and we have a duty to inspect these premises, especially those identified as 'high risk'.
