First time applicants

First time applicants should apply to the Local Education Authority in whose area they are normally resident at the time they are making their application, unless they have moved to the area solely for the purposes of study.

You should apply to Denbighshire County Council if you or your parents / guardians or spouse pay Council Tax to this Authority.

If you are attending a Denbighshire School or local Further Education College, PN1 Forms will be available from your school and college in late March.

Continuing students

You will be sent a PR1/PR1a application form automatically by the Student Loans Company providing you have correctly indicated the full duration of your course on previous forms and your contact details on file are correct and up to date.
