Car Park Permits
Season tickets/Car Park Permits are available. For regular car park users these can save you money and avoid having to carry change to buy pay and display tickets, there are two types of season ticket:
a). Annual season ticket for use in all beach and long stay car parks at a cost of:
24 months - £120.00
12 months - £65.00
6 months - £37.50
3 months - £21.25
b). Annual season ticket for use only in the beach car parks at a cost of £35 (available from Prestatyn & Rhyl Offices)
Reduced Fee Long Stay Permit
If you are over 60 you can apply for a Reduced Fee Annual Long Stay Car Park Permit at an annual cost of £35. This is only available to Denbighshire Residents and you will need to proof of both your age and address to apply

Discount rates apply for vehicle owners resident in the County of pensionable age - details are available from the cash offices listed above. Proof of age and vehicle ownership are required.

Long Stay Car Park Permits - Conditions of Use
Denbighshire County Council's Long Stay Car Park Permits are available to County Residents and Non-Residents alike.
Postal applications will only be accepted on duly completed application forms, accompanied by the correct fee, and sent to the Head of Finance at Rhyl Town Hall.
Permits can only be issued in respect of a specific vehicle.
Where there is a change of vehicle a new Permit will be issued free of charge on surrender of the old Permit, together with a duly completed application form.
Replacement of lost permits will incur a £5.00 administration charge.
Failure to display a Permit will result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.
When parking at a designated Long Stay Council Car Park the Permit must be displayed on the inside of the windscreen in such a manner as to allow the Council’s inspector to read the detail upon it from outside the vehicle.
The Permit is issued subject to the rules and regulations, as laid down by Denbighshire County Council from time to time and may be withdrawn by the Council if there is a breach of such rules and regulations.
Holders of a Denbighshire County Council Car Park Permit will not be guaranteed a parking space on demand, but will be entitled to free parking (subject to availability of spaces) at any of the Authority's designated long stay car parks, i.e.:-

Contract Parking
Spaces in certain long stay car parks and in the Crescent Road coach park in Rhyl can be reserved for a twelve month period at a cost of £152.75 (inc VAT) per space. Contact the Parking Office for more details ( 01745 839 245 or 01745 839 250)
Denbighshire County Council’s Contract Permits are available to County Residents and Non-Residents alike and are available in Crescent Road Car Park Rhyl and the Children’s Village Underground Car Park Rhyl.
The permit is valid for one year from the date of issue and applies to the specified numbered space only. Postal applications will only be accepted on duly completed application forms available from Parking Services, accompanied by the correct fee (currently £152.75 inclusive of VAT) and sent to the Director of Finance at the Town Hall Rhyl.
Failure to display a permit will result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.
When parking in the designated contract space the permit must be displayed on the inside of the windscreen in such a manner as to allow the Parking Attendant to read it from the out side of the vehicle.
The Crescent Road car park is open to contract holders 24 hrs but may be locked at certain times. If this is the case permit holders will be issued with a key and will be expected to lock the gate on leaving or collecting their car.
The Children’s Village Underground Car Park will be locked overnight:
1800 – October to March
2359 – April to September.
The permit is issued subject to the rules and regulations as laid down by Denbighshire County Council from time to time and may be withdrawn by the Council if there is a breach of those rules and regulations.
