Buy a Compost Bin for £10!

To encourage residents to reduce their waste by composting at home, Denbighshire has come up with an excellent new offer. The Slimline 300 home composter is compact and offers a generous 300 litre capacity. It is available now for a greatly reduced price of £10, including free delivery.

How to Order
Send the completed form and a cheque made payable to 'Denbighshire County Council' to Denbighshire County Council, Environmental Services, Kinmel Park Depot, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire, L18 5UX.

Alternatively credit / debit card payments can be taken over the phone by calling our customer service team on 01824 706101.

Top Composting Tips

Composting at home is easy. You can compost everything in the Yes column of the table below. We advise that items in the No column be avoided as they do not compost well or at all.

  • Vegetable and fruit peelings
  • Body fluids, disposable nappies, used paper handkerchiefs (in case the pathogens which carry disease are not all destroyed by the composting process)
  • Tea leaves, coffee grounds and crushed egg shells
