Household Waste
Here you will find information about your refuse collection, wheelie bins, what to do if you experience a missed collection and tips on reducing your waste.
To find out your collection day please click the link 'Find my Refuse Collection Day'. Please note that we are still populating our database of collection days. If your collection day isn't listed, then please contact us on 01824 706101.
Refuse Sacks
If you are on the sack based service, you are provided with a supply of refuse sacks. However, if you use these up, you will then have to provide your own. In the north of the County, a year’s supply of sacks is delivered to each household every spring. Whereas, in the south, sacks are dropped off on collection day. If you have not received your sacks, contact Customer Services via customerservicecentre@denbighshire.gov.uk or 01824 706101.
Please use your refuse sacks responsibly. Don’t overload them and properly package any sharp or easily breakable material, e.g. glass. Take your garden waste to your nearest recycling centre. Garden waste will not be collected with your normal refuse unless it is properly contained in Council white sacks. These are available from the Council’s offices at a cost of 50p each.
