Welcome to the new look Denbighshire County Council website
To help you use the new website the functions are listed below with an explanation as to how they work.
New features
"CYMRAEG / ENGLISH" language switch
This can now be found in the top right hand corner of the web page as stipulated by the Welsh Language Board.
By clicking on "CYMRAEG" or "ENGLISH", the web page is now translated into that language.
Search engine
The search engine is now located next to the language switch in the top right of the web page.
Font size controller A | A | A |
The three A's allow the font size of each webpage to be increased or decreased and can be found in the top left corner of the web page.
Breadcrumb trail
Just below the banner is the breadcrumb trail so that you can see where that page is located within the greater website
Inherited links
As you move around the website there is now a new navigation menu on the left hand side with intelligent updates depending upon which section of the website you are in.
Give feedback on this page
This new feature can be found at the top of each page and allows you to contact the author directly to report any technical problems and/or provide feedback. It opens a simple form that is redirected to that person.
Consistent layout of all web pages
We have tried to give the website a more consistent look as well as improve navigation so that all service homepages now offer the same content and layout. On each page links, email, external links and online services will be offered for that section in the same consistent manner.
On the front page of the website are new links from the Local Government Category List. See list below.
Homepages and web pages have been grouped around these new sections to help you find information right across the Council website rather than by service. However, service homepages can still be found by clicking 'Your Council' in the banner.
