Computers at Denbigh Library

Free computer use

Are there computers in libraries?

Yes! There are computers in all libraries - and you can use them free of charge!

Who can use them?

Everybody. If you are aged 11 - 14 you will need parental/carer consent, and if  under 11 you will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Do I need to be a member?

Yes - and your library card allows you to book a computer in advance. Visitors are also welcome.

What can I use the computers for?

You can search the internet, send e-mails, create spreadsheets and scan and print your documents. You can also do your homework or research, book holidays, shop, bank, keep in touch with friends, look for a job and contact your council.

How long can I use them for?

Usually for an hour, though the session can be extended if computers are available. At busy times, such as after school, sessions may be restricted to 30 minutes.
