Record Office News
- Ysgol Heulfre came second in the national History Heritage Trail for their project on Denbigh Town, for which they visited Denbighshire Record Office and used information found in the archives, including the census, maps, trade directories, photographs and original archive material. Two pupils went to Swansea to collect the prize of £1,000 which was put towards P. E. equipment for the school. The children also enjoyed a trip to Pizza Hut and to St Asaph. People can see the work in an exhibition in Denbigh Library until the end of August and again in the same place for the Heritage Open Weekend on 20 and 21 September.
