The words 'air pollution' create images of the London Smog of pre 1950's and large chemical manufacturing complexes. However, not all air pollution that we are involved with is so obvious.  Smog creating coal fires are now rare and in the absence of local heavy industry, our efforts are now concentrated on the less visible air pollution created by the motor vehicle, the lighter industries such as printing and painting resulting in solvent emissions, petrol stations, as well as domestic bonfires and radon issues.
