Denbighshire Catering Services are members of the Local Authority Caterers Association (LACA) and are committed to improving the diet of pupils within the Authority.

We take part in the annual National School Meals Week Promotion organised by LACA and the theme for the next 2 years will be along the lines of 'you are what you eat.'

The aim is to promote healthy eating in a fun and light hearted manner and special menus and competitions will be available.

We consider ourselves part of the team in schools and are able to customise our menus to fit in with particular events on the school curricular, e.g. Roman Days, International Days, War Days and many other specific events.

Staff enjoy these days as much as the children and often join in the fun by dressing up for the day.
