Denbighshire countryside Service produce a newsletter every year to highlight some of the work they have been doing.

Countryside Newsletter 2008
(pdf, 2,653.27 KB) Whether you’re listening to the radio, watching TV or reading the newspaper, there seems to be some reference to sustainable living or family values. They are hot topics for discussion and also for action! Denbighshire Countryside Service is a team of qualified and enthusiastic people, passionate about the environment around them. This small team have completed numerous projects that contribute to sustainable living and encourage respect for our environment. The achievements, showcased in this newsletter, would not have been possible without the extraordinary volunteers who give freely of their own time, skills and sense of humour.
The action varies from planting trees, improving paths and bracken bashing to re-building ancient field boundaries, guiding walks and installing stiles, kissing gates and way-markers. From a full events programme, volunteers programme, Walking Week and exhibitions to leaflets, magazines, interpretative panels and art, there are lots of ways to become actively involved.
This newsletter should guide you through some of the excellent achievements of 2007 and the opportunities for 2008 giving you the encouragement to join in the action.
