Give feedback on this pageThe Learning Development Team is a team of specialist teaching and support staff working in Denbighshire Primary schools.
Each member of the team has additional qualifications and extensive experience in working with pupils with specific and general learning difficulties.
The Learning Development Team provides:
- Support for children with Additional Learning Needs.
- Direct Teaching in a one-to one or small group situation.
- Advice in producing effective individual education plans.
- Support for class teachers in providing for individual needs.
- Support and training for Learning Support Assistants.
- Support for SENCos and schools in developing policy and practice for pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
- Basic Skills assessments and follow up advice for parents and schools.
- Regional Resource Centres in Rhyl, Denbigh and Gwyddelwern.
