How we Work
Night time inspections of all street lights, illuminated signs and bollards are carried out every fortnight. Faults are then attended to and repaired within 5 working days.
Any exposed wiring or other immediately dangerous faults will be made safe within 2 hours of being reported.
Our response standards apply to all electrical faults that are within our control. Only the electricity company can carry out repairs to their supply cables and the speed of repair is then out of our hands. The electricity company has its own response time to restore supplies within 10 working days.
How can faults be reported?
If you find a problem with a street light or other illumination on a road or path near you please report it to us. We need to know the name of the street or road the light is on and the light's number. The number will be displayed as shown in the attached photographs.
If you don't know the number, then tell us the address of the nearest house or building. Note, there may be two numbers where there is an illuminated sign on a street light column.
You can use our on-line report form (see link) or contact our Customer Service Centre via customerservicecentre@denbighshire.gov.uk or 01824 706101 (08:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday).
