Grounds Maintenance maintains the Authority’s green spaces and cemeteries.

The services we provide include:

• Grass cutting.
• Floral displays.
• Hanging baskets.
• Tree and hedge cutting.
• Play area tidying.
• Sports pitch maintenance.
• Grave digging.

We maintain public spaces and many Council sites, including civic buildings, schools, leisure centres and libraries. We also carry out work for the Town Councils, Fire Service and sports clubs.

We operate from two depots, in the north and south of the County. At the former, in Rhyl, we have several large greenhouses, where we grow much of our requirement of summer/winter bedding, shrubs and trees.
