Digilabs

Denbighshire Youth Service provides informal learning opportunities through 4 Credu Digilabs:

• Ruthin Youth Centre
• Rhyl Youth Centre
• Prestatyn Youth Centre
• Llangollen Youth Centre

We offer young people the opportunity to:

• Further develop their ICT skills.
• Use the digital and video cameras.
• Use the ICT equipment for school or college work.
• Provide young people with access to the internet for support and guidance.
• Develop basic and key skills.

We also offer workshops on:

• Camera and video skills.
• Project based work.
• Digital story-telling.
• Support with internet searching.

Aims of the Digi Labs

• To raise the aspirations of young people to increase their ICT and digital production skills level, outside of school and across the community.
• To raise the quality of services to young people by extending the opportunities for the delivery of information and training.
• To increase the opportunities for sustainable community based learning skills development with young people.
• Basic skills which open doors to a full life and promote social inclusion.
• To celebrate young people’s successes.
