Denbighshire County Council has confirmed arrangements for a special meeting to elect a new Leader for the authority.

The meeting will take place at County Hall, Ruthin on Tuesday, November 6 at 10am.

The closing date for receipt of nominations for the leadership will be 10am on Tuesday, October 30.  Nominations must be signed by two other councillors.  Details of the those nominated and the councillors that supported the nomination  will be announced on the same day.

A Corporate Governance Committee scheduled to take place in Prestatyn will now change location to County Hall, Ruthin and will follow immediately after the special council meeting.
