Assisted Collection Policy
In order to guarantee collection, refuse needs to be presented at the front edge of your property by 07.00 on the day of collection.
Where a householder is physically unable to move their wheelie bin/refuse sacks/ recycling box to the designated collection point and there is no-one else at the property who is able to take the refuse out then we can offer an Assisted Collection service.
Requests for Assisted Collection can be made by filling out the application form below and submitting it to:
Denbighshire County Council,
Assisted Collection Apps,
Kinmel Park Depot,
Bodelwyddan,
Denbighshire,
LL18 5UX
(application forms are also available at One Stop Shops).
Applications for Assisted Collection need to be supported by a letter from a suitably qualified person (e.g./ health carer, social services worker, or other responsible person).
If an application for Assisted Collection is granted we will collect refuse from a specified point to be agreed with the householder e.g./ outside the back door, or down the drive in front of garage etc.
Please note that the collection point has to be on the outside of the property. Refuse collection operatives will not be permitted to enter buildings (including garages, sheds or out-houses) in order to remove waste.
