10/30/2007 - Walking Through the Past

Have you ever looked at the Denbighshire landscape and wondered how it has changed through time?
A guided walk is being arranged on Saturday, November 17th that will look at marks left on the landscape by ancestors.
Archaeologists Wendy Horton and Richard Hayman have been surveying the landscape of the Clwydian Range over recent months, recording any archaeological features of interest.
Starting at 10.00am from the Moel Famau Iron Gate Car Park, they will lead the guided walk to share the results of their work. The walk will include a visit to the Iron Age hillfort of Moel y Gaer, Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd. Following the walk the archaeologists will present an illustrated talk at Llanferres Village Hall at 2.30pm.
To book a place on the event or for further information please contact Helen Mrowiec, Denbighshire’s Heather and Hillforts Project Officer, on 01824 708257.
