The Enforcement Protocol and Associated Policy has been approved by the Lead Member in June 2009.

The purpose of the Policy is to set out what businesses and individuals can expect from us when enforcing the law. At the same time, the Protocol and Associated Policy commits our Enforcement Officers to carrying out enforcement activities in a fair and consistent manner, being open and transparent, helpful and proportional.
