Race Equality Scheme

Denbighshire County Council has a community leadership role and it is important that we lead the equalities agenda by example, both as a major employer in the County and as a provider of services.

The Council in May 2008 formally adopted a revised Corporate Race Equality Scheme 2008 - 2011 which sets out the actions we will be taking as a Council to improve our delivery of services to minority groups.

The Race Equality Scheme complements the Corporate Equalities Scheme a Council document that gives an overview of all our equality strands.
