‘Painted Ladies’ is the theme for this year’s artist in residence at Plas Newydd, Llangollen.

Starting on May 5, artist, Ann Bridges, began a month-long project based on the lives and journals of the Ladies of Llangollen, and will be keeping her own sketchbook diary throughout her time there.

She will be based at the on-site studio, Y Caban, and there will be a series of drop-in sessions on May 5 and 26 as well as taster sessions on  May 21 and 22 for visitors to try their hand at something creative in a beautiful setting.
