Etched Landscape
Alistair Tucker
17 May–28 June 08
Etchings and mixed media drawings and paintings inspired by the British landscape, looking at shape and form and effects of the weather and light upon it. He is aiming to ‘preserve the frisson of the first encounter, to try and capture the timeless nature of a place, the presence and essence of what Paul Nash called the ‘genius loci’, hopefully without slavish verisimilitude.’
May 24th. One Day Workshop (in Chester) with Alistair Tucker, producing a finished etching.
