A Short Walk in the Big Landscape – Colin Taylor

Colin Taylor deals with the natural environment – ever changing and surrounding us with different sensations – by painting what he feels, not just what he sees; he creates marks and surfaces full of enquiry, emotion and energy. In this exhibition he has looked from particular viewpoints within the landscape, creating a link with Thomas West’s ‘A Guide to the Lakes, in Cumberland, Westmorland and Lancashire’, 1778.
