06/23/2008 - Councillor to represent county on police authority
Councillor Ian Gunning has been chosen as Denbighshire County Council’s representative on the North Wales Police Authority.
Denbighshire’s Chairman, Councillor Raymond Bartley, said: “I’m delighted to be able to congratulate Councillor Gunning on his appointment to the North Wales Police Authority.
“Councillor Gunning was previously a serving police officer and has a wealth of expertise in tackling crime and disorder. His background in the police service will be truly beneficial in his new role on the Authority”.
Councillor Gunning was elected councillor for Rhyl in May’s elections, and represents Rhyl South East.
