07/01/2008 - Recycling record for Denbighshire
Denbighshire residents have broken the 30% barrier for recycling during the first three months of the current financial year.
The record amount of garden waste collected for composting has been one factor but householders are also recycling more paper, glass, cans and plastic bottles than ever before.
The Council is now consulting on recycling issues and has asked residents what they want to recycle and how they want to recycle goods. The closing date for the consultation is July 31st. The survey can be found on www.denbighshire.gov.uk/consultations
