This is our first Children & Young People’s Single Plan and it explains how we are all going to work together to make a difference to the lives and prospects of children and young people in Denbighshire.
The Welsh Assembly Government sets out its vision for children & young people and the development of the Single Plan in:
- Children & Young people: Rights to Action
- Extending Entitlement: Supporting Young People in Wales
- Stronger Partnerships for Better Outcomes
This Plan is the key driver for improving planning, sharing responsibilities and delivery of positive outcomes for the next three years and sets out our priorities within each of the 7 Core Aims.
Our Needs Assessment, The Plan and the priorities within the plan have been developed through a series of consultation with children, young people, parents, carers and people who work with children and young people. They reflect what our county, and the people who live and work here, want us to prioritise for the next three years.
