Properties not suitable for wheelie bins, or within rural communities are now able to recycle tins, cans, glass bottles, cardboard and paper with the introduction of a blue and white recycling sack scheme.
Each property receives a roll of blue sacks and a roll of white sacks, together with an information leaflet and a calendar.

Please do not put any of the following into your sacks:

- Garden waste
- Food / Liquids
- Plastic Wrap e.g. cellophane, crisp packets, carrier bags)
- Nappies
- Hoover Dust
- Textiles
Recycling Advice
Please wash out all tins and cans, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles, plastic trays etc.
To make the most of your recycling sacks, crush, squash or flatten materials where possible.
When should I put my sacks out?
These sacks should be set out on the same day as your usual refuse collection, once every two weeks. Please consult the calendar you received with your rolls of sacks to see which week your recycling will be collected.
