Denbighshire County Council is now on Twitter!

Click here to follow us and receive all the latest news and event updates.

Twitter is a service for friends, family and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

People write short updates, often called 'tweets' of 140 characters or fewer. These messages are posted to your profile or your blog, sent to your followers, and are searchable on Twitter search.

Twitter is free to use, and you can sign up to the service simply by creating an account on Twitter’s website.

Once signed up, you can follow our Twitter feed and receive news and event updates via the Twitter website. You can also send and receive updates via your mobile phone.

You can access help articles and read about known issues on Twitter’s help pages if you have any problems.

To receive our tweets on your mobile, just make sure you've registered your mobile number on your account, and enabled device updates for our @DenbighshireCC Twitter feed.

We like this video from Howcast. It covers all of the Twitter basics!
