Denbighshire County Council is entitled to display the IiP logo on this site because it achieved corporate IiP status in February 2005 and was successful in retaining it in February 2008. IiP status means that IiPUK has assessed the organisation successfully against the Investors in People Standard.
As implied by the title, the standard focuses on the people side of organisations and is based around good management practice providing a benchmark for any well-run organisation.
The standard has 39 outcome-based evidence requirements based around the 3 core principles of planning, doing and reviewing linked to the organisation’s priorities and covers the following:
Plan - Business Strategy
Learning & Development Strategy
People Management Strategy
Leadership & Management Strategy
Do - Management Effectiveness
