Instrumental and vocal tuition is provided by Gwasanaeth Ysgolion William Mathias in Denbighshire schools.

Gwasanaeth Ysgolion William Mathias has been providing vocal and instrumental music lessons to pupils in Gwynedd and Anglesey since 1996, and Denbighshire since 1998. Now there are over 13,750 pupils across the three counties who receive weekly lessons in their schools by a team of nearly 100 qualified and experienced tutors.

Instruments

Our goal is to make sure lessons are available to all, and to this end we are able to lend one of the Service's over 8,000 instruments for free to our students for a period of 2 years.

Groups

Our students' musical development is integral to the work of the Service. We believe that every person should take the opportunity to develop their skills through performing with others in local ensembles, and ultimately be part of cross-county and national groups.
