Denbighshire is advising residents and visitors that the Council and Environment Agency Wales, having received results of Bathing water samples, have made the decision to lift the warning of possible contaminated water for the sea water, and signs along the coast will be removed.
Further tests are awaited of the river water quality.
Environment Agency Wales officers have carried out monitoring of the situation and extensive tests and sampling of the river and sea water quality following the burst sewerage pipework on the 15 February, causing discharge of sewage. Dwr Cymru Welsh Water completed the initial repair on Saturday evening, and a further repair early yesterday morning.
Environment Agency Wales and Denbighshire had warned about potential poor water quality of the river estuary and along the coastline and warning signs had been placed along the coast.
