FIS training: Level 2 food safety (online group session)
The qualification is aimed at learners working in catering and other food handlers. The learner will gain knowledge and understanding of the key issues in food safety required to safeguard the health of consumers. The areas covered are considered vital by the Food Standards Agency to maintain food safety and hygiene.
The course is delivered by an online group session, followed by the completion of a one to one discussion with the trainer.
When and where do courses take place?
The online group session takes place through Zoom or Microsoft Teams on:
- Wednesday 2 March 2022, from 6pm to 8pm
- Wednesday 8 June 2022, from 6pm to 8pm
- Wednesday 12 October 2022, from 6pm to 8pm

The one to one session will be arranged with the trainer.
Who can attend?
This course is for all registered childcare providers in Denbighshire who are registered, or are registering, with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) (external website).
The setting must also be registered with Dewis.Wales (external website)
How to get involved
There is a charge of £15 per person to attend this course and each person who wants to attend will need to complete the online booking request form.
After receiving a booking request, we will send an invoice to the childcare provider which must be paid promptly.
