Exploring Enterprise

Are you thinking about starting a business but need advice on how to start?

The Economic Empowerment project is funded by the UK Government through the Community Renewal Fund and it's your route to starting something new with the skills and expertise you already have.

Exploring Enterprise workshops

Through our Exploring Enterprise workshops, we can help you plan your next steps in business, employment or training. The workshops are free, with no obligation to sign up for anything else and they will support you to think about:

  • what it takes to start a business
  • developing your existing skills and experience into an idea for a business
  • exploring if you could use an interest or hobby as a base for a business
  • learning to capture your skills and experience to improve your job prospects
  • identifying your skills for employment
  • thinking about your next steps in employment or training
  • finding your best work / life balance

You'll be able to listen to guest speakers talk about their journey and how they got to where they are today.
