How do I request a bulky collection?

You can contact either your nearest One Stop Shop, or the customer service centre on 01824706101. You will need to give details and make payment for the items you would like collected.

How much does it cost?

Bulky collections are charged at £5 per item. If you are arranging for a bed to be collected, please keep in mind that a mattress and base are counted as two items. All items must be specified when making a request and anything left outside which is not mentioned on the crews worksheet will not be taken.

Where to leave your items

All items must be left at the front of the property in an easily accessible place. Our refuse team do not collect the item(s) from inside the property.

How long will it take for items to be collected?

Collections will normally be carried out within 10 working days of your request and the crew will contact you with a collection day.

What happens to the bulky items you collect?

Items collected are taken to the CAD Recycling Depot on the Colomendy Industrial Estate and will be recycled if suitable.
