Rhyl harbour

Below are details of the Rhyl harbour project.

New quay walls

The new quay walls and associated pontoon will provide additional facilities for boat users within the harbour, and will provide an additional pick up point for those going out on the Charter fishing boats.

Pedestrian & Cycle Bridge

The bridge closes the gap in National Cycle Network Route 5|, which runs along the North Wales coast line and provide a traffic free route for the ‘Wales Coastal Path’ as well as access to the new harbour facilities.
The bridge opens to allow boats in and out of the harbour, and is operated from the harbour office within the new quayside building.

Harbour building

The harbour building will provide improved facilities for boat users and members of the public.

The cafe and business unit

The cafe and business unit within the harbour building will provide two new business opportunities. Please contact the project team if you are interested.
