We provide free training courses for providers of social care across the whole sector in Denbighshire.
We have worked with social care providers, members of the Social Care Workforce Development Partnership, and the local authority management teams to identify what the training needs are, and we have designed the training around these needs.

Who can apply for training?
Anyone who carries out social care duties in Denbighshire can apply for training. Each course is aimed at a specific group, and this is shown on the training calendar.
Courses marked 'whole sector' are open to independent and third sector social care providers in Denbighshire; staff from the local authority or statutory sector; foster carers; unpaid family carers; direct payment recipients and their personal assistants.
For most courses, there are a maximum of two places available per organisation.

Apply online for social care training
Alternatively, you can download and complete a paper booking form and return it to: Workforce Development Team, Adult and Business Services, Denbighshire County Council, PO Box 62, Ruthin, LL15 9AZ.
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We will let you know if you have successfully gained a place on a course within 5 working days of receiving your booking form.
