Who can get help?Under the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, not everyone qualifies for help to prevent homelessness but everyone is entitled to information and advice.


Am I priority need?If you are homeless, eligible and in priority need then the Council must ensure you are offered suitable temporary accommodation whilst it completes further enquiries.



Am I intentionally homeless?We will need to find out why you are homeless and whether or not you are intentionally homeless.


Do I have a local connection?If you are eligible, homeless and in priority need we will consider your local connection if all attempts to prevent and relieve homelessness have been exhausted or have failed.
