Governor training: Understanding School Performance Data

County Hall - Ruthin
08/05/2018 (17:30-19:30)

This session is to train governors on how to use school performance data. This then is a look at school performance data for those who don’t understand statistics, and who don’t have an A level in mathematics! The session will also look at how and when data is provided to schools; performance assessment data and Families of Schools Data.

It will highlight what governors need to be aware of and what questions they need to be asking:

  • How well is our school doing?
  • Is our performance really improving?
  • What areas of good practice do we have?
  • Who is underperforming?
