Education training: Mandatory Safeguarding Training for school designated Safeguarding Leads

Anyone attending one of the sessions without booking a place will be unable to stay for the training, the events are strictly limited to 20 places for each event. 

This training is targeted at the designated safeguarding leads in schools, the training provides an update on current operational policies and practice within Denbighshire and forms the links with national policies in Wales. DSL’s will benefit from work on completion of conference reports a (workshop task) and the responsibilities of schools to monitor and undertake risk assessments of the school site.

Refreshments will be available but lunch will not be provided.

This is a mandatory training event by the local authority, safeguarding leads from all schools must attend one of the dates supplied through the booking procedures outlined below:

Who can attend?

Only safeguarding leads from Denbighshire Schools can attend this training.
