Businesses wanting to know more about new data laws can take advantage of a free training session.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years.
As part of Denbighshire County Council’s March for Business month, a free training session is being held at Clwyd Chambers business hub in Rhyl on March 2.
Jason Davies of IT firm Safonda will be leading the session.
He said: “With GDPR coming into effect in early 2018 it is essential businesses of all sizes understand what will be required of them to stay on the right side of the law.
“This session will cover an overview of GDPR including looking at the challenges for existing and future IT and paper-based systems along with the steps every organisation should be looking at now to make sure they are ready.”
