‘Ysgol Tremeirchion is a happy and caring community where pupils and adults work together effectively. The caring relationship between older and younger pupils is a particular feature of the school’s life. The vision for an industrious, inclusive and caring school is promoted effectively by the headteacher, staff, governors and parents’.
This was Estyn’s judgement following an inspection at Ysgol Tremeirchion during the Spring Term.
Ysgol Tremeirchion was also inspected by the Church in Wales Inspection team and noted that the ‘School is a warm and welcoming Christian place of learning. A strong and established ethos of love, care and mutual respect for one another permeates all that the school sets out to achieve’.
Mr J. Piper Chair of Governors, response on behalf of the school was ‘We are very proud of the content of the reports which reflect the care, sense of community and high standards that we aim to deliver here at the school’.
Both reports have now been published and available on the school website and the Estyn report is available on the Estyn website. The judgement was ‘Good’ in both reports for all areas inspected.
