Denbighshire County Council and Bangor University have joined forces to develop leadership skills.
The Council is helping the University run its ION Leading Growth programme which focuses on essential skills required for leaders and managers in small, medium and large organisations.
It is the first time the accredited course will be held in North Wales outside of Bangor, making it more accessible to businesses in the east of the region.
The Council is supporting the course, to be run over nine sessions between January and July next year, by hosting training at its Denbigh and Ruthin offices.
This is part of Denbighshire’s work to develop the local economy by providing support to businesses.
Since 2016 almost 100 North Wales business have joined ION Leadership courses which are backed with £2.7m from the European Social Fund to raise skills and drive productivity in businesses.
