Standards Committee Notice of Decision: Councillor Richard Mainon

On 11th June 2021, the Standards Committee of Denbighshire County Council determined that Councillor Richard Mainon had breached Denbighshire County Council's Code of Conduct and should be suspended from being a member of Denbighshire County Council for a period of two months.

An Appeal Tribunal convened by the President of the Adjudication Panel for Wales has considered an appeal by Councillor Richard Mainon against the decision of Denbighshire County Council's Standards Committee.

The original findings of the Standards Committee have been upheld and the suspension for 2 months has been endorsed.

The suspension takes effect from 30th October until 30th December 2021.

During this period Councillor Mainon cannot act or give the impression of acting as a Councillor.

He will not receive any salary from the Council during this period.
