Modernising Education – help make a difference
The Council is committed to modernising education in the County so that children and young people have a first class education. We recognise the importance of having modern and fit for purpose buildings that meet the needs of modern day education. Schools need to be able to provide the best possible learning experience, to make sure that children and young people have the best opportunities available to them and that they are able to reach their full potential.
The council has come up with 10 new policies which will be used as a starting point for the Modernising Education framework. These policies are still only draft and we want your views. The deadline for responses is December 12th.

Community Safety - Alley Gates
We are considering installing further alley gates in Denbighshire. The process used is that local residents or elected members have asked for gates in response to problems in their locality. We have reviewed the area and decided that alley gates could help. This public consultation is about letting you, the community, know what is being considered and allowing you to make representations. Consultation period closes on 7 December 2008.
