Project background

This was part of Project 3 of the Clwyd South Dee Valley LRF Project: Corwen Connectivity - New and Improved Western Gateway to the Dee Valley and World Heritage Site.

The overall aim was to improve visitor connectivity networks, town centre assets and public realm between the station and the Corwen town centre creating a new, improved and complementary visitor entry point to the World Heritage Site.

The aim of the project was to provide a platform canopy for the new Corwen railway station terminus on the Llangollen and Corwen Railway.
