How to apply for free transport to a pick up point
Apply online for free transport where there is no safe walking route to a pick up point
After making an application
We will contact you about the outcome of your application within 15 working days. This 15 days refers to the checking of eligibility and responding, and not when transport will commence.
In some cases we’ll need to assess the route to see if we can provide transport, which may mean that providing a decision on your application can take longer.
If your application is successful, we will contact you to confirm when free transport to a pick up point will begin.
We will let you know if your application is unsuccessful and provide the reasons for this decision. There is no right to appeal if refused, as college education is not statutory.
