  • Before you begin

    To complete this application, you will need to provide:

    • your details
    • information about the childcare setting you are applying for funding for, including:
      • the type provision
      • the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registration number, name of registered person, and number of CIW places (if registered with the CIW)
      • evidence to show that the provision is in the process of registering with the CIW (if not yet registered)
      • your Public Liability Certificate's start date and number
    • details of what you would use the funding for, including:
      • a brief explanation of what you would use the funding for
      • evidence of the works you'd like to carry out such as:
        • a photograph of the equipment that needs replacing or areas that need to be refurbished
        • letters from Flying start, Early Education team or parents in support of the work
      • whether or not the costs of the work or equipment needed will be under, the same as, or over £5,000
    • Bank details that you would like the grant to be paid to (if successful).

    You will also need to read and accept the Childcare and Early Years Capital Programme – small grants scheme terms and conditions.
