Welsh medium secondary education is available within a reasonable distance of every home in Denbighshire. Any child can follow a smooth path to Welsh medium education in secondary school. 

We will provide free transport for your child to travel to your nearest school that offers Welsh medium education if you live over two miles away from it.

It is important that your child continues to study through the medium of Welsh from primary through to secondary and take advantages of the many benefits of being a bilingual learner.

It is widely acknowledged that children who have two languages tend to perform better in tests and examinations.
